Automatic Poultry & Fish Deboning Machine

Poultry and fish meat/bone separator machine – Delivers high-quality mechanically deboned meat with efficiency and consistency

Our poultry & fish deboning machine is an industrial equipment solution designed to mechanically separate meat from bones (and sometimes skin or cartilage) in poultry (chicken, duck, goose), fish (whole fish, fillets, smaller species), and bone-in minced meat. This poultry and fish meat/bone separator machine enables high-volume processing, improves yield, reduces manual labor, and produces boneless (or minimally bony) meat suitable for further processing (e.g., nuggets, fillets, sausage, pet food). The meat processed by the separator machine is mushy. The produce yield rates are 85-90%. The separated meat is of high quality, the damage to the meat fibrous tissue is light, and there is no bone residue in the meat. Our Meat Deboning Machines are ideal for large meat processing plants, slaughterhouses, and pet food plants. Perfect for producing sausage, meatballs, bacon, dumpling fillings, ham, luncheon meat, chicken nuggets, meat pies, meat sauces, and pet food.

Poultry And Fish Deboning Machine Working Principle

The meat deboning machine mainly uses the mechanical screening principle to break and filter the meat and bone raw materials. Then separate the meat from the bone particles. The meat bone separator is composed of a feed inlet, a screw press, two outlets (minced meat outlet and bone residue outlet), a motor, a body, and a base.

    1. The spiral shaft rotates to bring the raw materials (whole birds/poultry skeletons, fish frames, fillets) in the hopper into the propulsion chamber
    2. A screw-press exerts pressure, forcing meat or muscle through a perforated screen while retaining or discharging bones, cartilage, skin, or non-meat material.
    3. Separation of meat output from bone/discard output: meat comes out through filter holes; bones are discharged separately.
    4. The Meat Separator Machine includes adjustable screens to adapt to different raw materials (poultry vs fish), ensuring optimum yield and minimal tissue damage.
    5. The separated meat can then be used for further processing (nuggets production, sausages production, minced meat processing), and the bones can be further processed (bone meal, animal feed, extraction).

    Automatic Meat Deboning Machine Applications

    Application Scenarios:

    • Poultry processing plants: removing bones from chicken carcasses, necks, legs, geese, ducks, etc.
    • Fish processing: separating fish meat from small bones, fillets from skeleton, processing small whole fish or fish frames for paste or minced meat.
    • Meat product factories: producing boneless meat for sausages, nuggets, burgers, patties, and further value-added items.
    • Pet food, animal feed, or ingredient plants: separating bone/meat for feed, supplement, or other uses.

    Advantages and Benefits:

    • Increased yield of usable meat, reduced waste, and manual labor.
    • Consistent quality of meat (minimal bone residue), which improves safety and product acceptability.
    • High throughput for industrial use (large volumes of poultry/fish).
    • Hygienic and easy-to-clean design improves food safety compliance.
    • Flexibility: machines can handle multiple raw material types (poultry, fish) with some adjustment.
    • It can separate low-temperature raw materials, chilled and fresh raw materials.

      Automatic Meat Deboning Machine Features

      Automatic Meat Bone Separator Machine
      • High efficiency. One machine completes separation at once, saving labor and space.
      • Low-temperature separating. The temperature rise during the separation process does not exceed 3°C. Maintaining nutrition in meat. It can separate low-temperature raw materials, chilled raw materials, and fresh raw materials.
      • Wide applications. It can process various poultry, fish, and bone-in minced meat. Adjustable screen to handle different species/sizes (fish, chicken, duck) and to optimize meat yield.
      • Stable performance. Mechanical drive system (motor, gearbox) designed for continuous operation, high throughput, and stable performance.
      • Easy operation. Simple interface/controls (sometimes variable speed drives) allowing adaptation of processing speed or pressure.
      • Hygienic design for easy cleaning. Smooth surfaces, easy disassembly. Constructed from food-grade stainless steel (often SUS304) for hygiene, corrosion resistance, and ease of cleaning.

      Meat Bone Separator Machine Considerations

      • Raw Material Suitability: The size, species (e.g., small fish vs large fish), freshness, and pre-preparation (temperature, trimming) impact performance and yield.
      • Cleaning & Maintenance: The Meat Bone Separator Machine operates under heavy load; ensure ease of cleaning and spare parts availability.
      • Meat Quality Post-Separation: Ensure the machine does not overly damage meat fibers; the output should be suitable for further processing.
      • Downstream Integration: Consider how the deboned meat will be used (mince, nuggets production, fillets production) and ensure integration with next meat processes lines (grinding, forming, coating).

Automatic Poultry & Fish Deboning Machine FAQs

The deboning machine can process a variety of raw materials, including poultry carcasses (chicken, duck, goose, rabbit), fish frames or whole fish, and some bone-in meat trims.

Capacity varies by model. For example, the 80 model with a yield of 200-300 kg/h at a smaller size, and the 220 model is up to 6000-8000 kg/h for large industrial models.

Yield rates of around 85-90% are cited for poultry deboners when operating under optimal conditions.

The machine is constructed of food-grade stainless steel (often SUS 304). It features smooth surfaces, easy cleaning, and design suitable for wet/low-temperature separation.

Yes. Our meat bone separator machines allow processing chilled or low-temperature raw material and minimize temperature rise during separation.

The output boneless meat is suitable for meatballs, nuggets, sausages, mince, patties, pet food, or further processing.

The warranty is 12 months for manufacturing defects, with lifetime technical support and spare part availability.

The Automatic Poultry & Fish Deboning Machine uses gentle mechanical pressure and low-speed separation to minimize tissue damage. This ensures that the recovered meat maintains its natural fibers and is suitable for premium meat products like nuggets or meatballs.

The meat deboning machine uses a stainless-steel perforated screen with holes sized between 0.3 mm to 3 mm, depending on the product. Smaller holes produce finer meat paste, while larger holes retain a chunkier texture.

Yes. The same deboning machine can process chicken, duck, rabbit, and fish by simply adjusting the pressure, speed, and screen size to suit the material.

Operators can adjust the screen hole size, feed rate, and screw pressure. These adjustments determine the meat particle size and separation efficiency.

The meat deboning machine should be disassembled and washed with warm water and food-safe detergent. The perforated drum, screw, and hopper require thorough cleaning to prevent bacterial growth.

Yes. The deboning machine can be integrated with upstream cutting conveyors and downstream mixers, forming part of an automatic poultry or fish meat production line.

Large carcasses or fish frames should be pre-cut into smaller pieces to ensure uniform feeding and to protect the screw and screen from damage.

Slightly thawed or chilled materials are ideal. Fully frozen materials are not recommended, as they may cause excessive wear or mechanical stress.

Common issues include uneven feed, excessive bone residue, or screen clogging—usually caused by improper pressure setting or inadequate pre-trimming.

The output is a soft, boneless meat paste or mince suitable for forming, mixing, and frying applications—ideal for making chicken nuggets, fish cakes, and meat patties.

Adjustable pressure and screw speed allow the meat deboning machine to adapt to different bone hardness levels, from soft fish bones to tougher poultry or rabbit bones.
