In a fried food processing line (such as chicken nuggets, tempura shrimp, fish sticks, French fries, onion rings, or plant-based snacks), the IQF Freezer is the final stage after frying, air cooling, and sometimes flavoring. Its main function is to quickly freeze fried products individually so they can be stored, packaged, and transported without losing texture, taste, or nutritional quality.
The IQF Freezer Machine (Individual Quick Freezing) is a specialized freezing system designed to rapidly freeze individual food pieces at ultra-low temperatures. Unlike traditional freezing methods, which form large ice crystals and cause clumping, IQF technology ensures that each piece of food remains separate, preserving its natural taste, texture, nutrition, and appearance. The temperature of the fried products after frying and cooling line is about 70-85℃. Then it needs to pre-cool the product to room temperature before freezing. Therefore, we design the pre-cooling stage+freezing stage.

IQF Freezer Machine Working Principle
The IQF freezer uses intense cold air circulation and high-velocity airflow to freeze products within minutes. Food items are spread evenly on a stainless-steel conveyor belt, where they are exposed to sub-zero temperatures ranging from -35°C to -45°C. Rapid freezing prevents cell wall damage, minimizes drip loss, and locks in product freshness.

The insulation parts are Polyurethane boards. And the Polyurethane density is≥ 41kg/㎥, with internal wooden support and cylindrical fixing rings, and a stainless steel plate sprayed with adhesive, ensuring no bulging. The outside and inside walls are stainless steel plates.

Conveying Belt
The conveyor belt is made of SUS304 stainless steel, with a strength that meets the American “Ashworth” strength standard. The core rod is Φ 10, the chain piece is δ=3, and the frozen product can be directly placed on the conveyor belt for freezing.

The fin of the pre-cooling stage is 200㎡, and that of the freezing part is 700㎡. The fin hole diameter is 19mm, and the thickness is 0.25mm.

Air Cooling Fan
The air cooling fan in the pre-cooling stage is 3 sets (Power 1.1KW). The air cooling fan in the freezing stage is 4 sets (Power 1.5KW).

Electrical Control System
The main electrical control components are produced by Chint Electric Company, and the temperature digital display is in the warehouse.
The mesh belt is controlled by a variable frequency power supply, and the speed of the mesh belt is adjusted to achieve variable speed.
